Koji Murai is the representative partner of Shinyu GLOBAL IP. He holds a B.A. in politics from Kwansei Gakuin University, and he has a number of years of international business experience. Mr. Murai began his career as an international businessman in engineering field with Kobe Steel, Ltd., and then worked as a chief of the fan motors marketing and sales division in Asia with Nidec Corporation before entering the intellectual property field. He then worked for a patent firm in Osaka for approximately 10 years, and joined Shinjyu in 2012. His professional associations include membership in the Japanese Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA), the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), and International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
