Ako Kobayashi holds a B.S. in Biology from Niigata University, and a M.S. and a D.S. in Biology from Kyoto University. She worked at intellectual property office of Okayama University as an intellectual property manager after working for another patent firm. She currently assists in the preparation of patent applications in the mechanical and chemical fields. She is a member of the Japanese Patent Attorneys Association.
