Shinji Nagatani holds a B.Eng. and an M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Kyoto University. He began his career as a chemical engineer in Toray Industries, Inc in 1993, entered in the field of intellectual property in 2001 and was registered as a Japanese patent attorney in 2002. He has handled many patent applications mainly related to automobile parts. He joined Shinjyu in 2024.
Mr. Nagatani is a member of the Japanese Patent Attorneys Association.
